Mission Sunday May 1st
Sunday, May 1st is Mission Awareness Sunday. Join us as we renew our commitment to missions and outreach both in our local community and internationally and share the good news about what Chedoke’s Missions Team has been up to throughout the year on behalf of the congregation.
There will be booth displays in the fireside room and this year we will collect food for the Eva Rothwell Centre.
The food pantry at Eva Rothwell is empty. All they have right now is pasta sauce. They are in need of canned vegetables, canned fruit, boxes of cereals, boxes of mashed potatoes, pancake mix, canned salmon and tuna, assorted jams, juice boxes and packages of cookies. Some of this food will be used to feed children coming to the centre. A lot of this food is given to needy families to take home. Eva Rothwell Centre would appreciate our help.
