At what time are the services?
Chedoke Church has two services in the morning. Our first service
begins at 9:31am and the second service begins at 11:00am. There is
a time of fellowship and coffee between services in the downstairs
gymnasium.
We also have "Connect" at 6:30 pm. Connect is a relaxed worship gathering for our current culture.
Is Chedoke Presbyterian Church wheelchair accessible?
Yes, our facility is wheelchair friendly and we have an elevator
that will take you to all the facilities in our church. Our greeters
or ushers will be more than happy to provide whatever
services you may need. Do not hesitate to ask for their assistance.
You will always find friendly people at Chedoke who'll help you find
your way around.
Who is the minister at Chedoke Presbyterian Church?
Rev. Dr. Garfield G. Havemann
If I cannot make it to the service, how can I share in the
worship and in the message?
Audio recordings of the Sunday services are available by
contacting the
church office.
Is there Sunday School and/or nursery programs available during the
services?
Children and students are a priority at Chedoke. We strive to make
it possible for parents and care givers to enjoy worship with the
comfort of knowing their children are well cared for and they are
enjoying a fruitful and fun experience themselves. Our enthusiastic
teachers and helpers want our children to be blessed by being at
Chedoke on a Sunday.
We have a warm and loving nursery, staffed by volunteers, who provide loving care for your infant and/or toddler on Sunday mornings in a safe and well managed environment, so that you can worship and enjoy a carefree worship experience. For more info about our Nursery here.
How should I dress?
We do not want you to be concerned about how you should dress when
you come to Chedoke. We want you rather to focus on relaxing in a
friendly environment where we join together and seek to meet with
God in a real way.
What about offering?
By offering we mean the money that people willingly place in the
offering plate. We want you to know that as visitors or newcomers to Chedoke there is no expectation that you will support Chedoke in this
way.
Is it possible to have a tour of your facility?
Certainly! You may even find it helpful to come to Chedoke before
your first Sunday visit. Bring your children along so they feel
comfortable at Chedoke. And if you want to tour our facility on a
Sunday, simply ask one of our ushers – they will be more than happy
to show you around.
Does Chedoke Church rent out its facilities?
Yes, information regarding rentals is available from the church
office.
