Son City
Son City is a new Sunday morning children's program for children aged 2 through Grade 5. It replaces the former Sunday School program. Children start by visiting the activity center of their choice and then coming together for singing and an opening group game. The main lesson is then presented followed by age-specific small group exercises which include choices of different interaction sheets. Son City uses the One Room Sunday School Curriculum.
Son City will be offered during both the 9:31 and the 11:00 am worship services.
There is no registration fee for Son City but an offering will be received each week.
Note: In addition to Son City youth classes for Grades 6 and up will still also be available during the morning worship services.
Registration Parents sending their children to Son City at Chedoke for the first time are required to fill our a Son City Registration Form which will be available at the church. This information will then be kept on file. In addition, for safety and security reasons. parents are required to "sign in" and "sign out" their children each time that they attend. Volunteers
Like all programs at Chedoke, Son City will require the support and participation of a number of parent volunteers. Parents are encouraged to consider volunteering, perhaps for a month at a time. Steve Baldry would be pleased to have your volunteer support and encouragement.
