ANOTHER MILESTONE!

On January 20, 1959, a group of dedicated and determined people held their first worship service as Chedoke Presbyterian Church.
They got together with the massive dream of a community church filled with many faithful people, serving the Lord and impacting their community with Good News.

On Sunday, January 20, 2019, at 10am, we will be celebrating the 60th anniversary of that historic day at Chedoke!

IT'S TIME TO CELEBRATE!

Please join us on Sunday January 20, 2019, at 10 am. to celebrate our 60th Anniversary and
give thanks to the Lord for our past,
rejoice on this happy day,
and embrace the future ministry God has for us.

We desire to come together on this day to give glory and thanks to the Lord with all our hearts.

GUEST SPEAKER

Dr John-Peter Smit (our former lead Pastor) will be our guest speaker.
The theme of his message is:
And if it All Starts Now?
(Numbers 11:4-6, 10-16, 24-29; Mark 9:38-41)

GRACE UPON GRACE

It has been 60 blessed years of amazing, abundant grace!
A great many people of all generations were blessed by the relevant preaching of the Word and many learned to trust Christ Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
Countless numbers of people were encouraged and supported in life seasons of challenge and loss. There was a lot of laughing - and crying -together over the years.
Many people discovered and used their gifts and talents in the service of the Lord, and joyously and generously shared and volunteered their time, talent and treasure.
Innumerable prayers were answered.
Over the past 6 decades Chedoke reached out with God's love beyond our doors, bring hope and Good News to people.

How good the Lord is!

 LUNCHEON

This Anniversary Celebration Service will be followed by a reception-luncheon.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, January 20!

Let’s celebrate!
