After a long winter and a cold spring, it is wonderful to finally have some warmth and sunshine.  As summer is finally here, many of us have the opportunity to get away on weekends.  This is a wonderful restorative time with family and friends, but we miss seeing you at Chedoke on Sundays.

This summer at Chedoke we are hosting four “Summer Talks” that will take place every other Tuesday night starting on Tuesday July 16th and then on Tuesday July 30th, Tuesday August 13th with the last one on Tuesday August 27th.  Our Summer Talks will be something between spending time with friends chatting over snacks, to talking about an interesting topic from a Biblical perspective.

The topics of discussion will focus on issues that effect your life and relationships such as:
-  Dealing with difficult situations ~ Tues. July 16
-  What does forgiveness look like? ~ Tues. July 30
-  Working through grief and loss ~ Tues. Aug. 13
-  What is mental health? ~ Tues. July 27

We will meet in the downstairs Activity Room with the doors opening at 6:30 with refreshments and some fun. (feel free to bring something to share) The talk and discussion will start at 7:00 and we will be wrapped up and out the door by 8:00 pm.
