We warmly invite you to join us on Thursday evenings @ 7:00 - 8:00 pm for a time of study in God's Word.

Each week Pastors Garfield and Cal will lead discussion on relavent topics and what the Bible has to say on these various subjects. It will be a time of study, discussion and sharing that will help us to grow in our faith and give insight as we journey the path of life God is leading us on.

Hello everyone!

Our Online Bible Study continues Thursday, August 27th, at 7pm, and I’m looking forward to continuing to explore Scripture with you/group. We are digging deeper together into some of the names/titles of Jesus. There is always more to discover about our Lord!

Please join us for our discussion. There’s no pressure, no perfect answers, and any/all questions are welcome. Our goal for this short hour together is to grow in our understanding of the names of Jesus which are like glittering facets of a cut diamond!

Thursday’s Study will be on Jesus as “AUTH0R”.

Here are some suggestions/questions to help you make the most of our discussion

We find three references to Jesus as Author in the Bible/New Testament: Acts 3:15; Hebrews 2:10, Hebrews 12:2.
·         Read each of these verses within its context – read the chapter it appears in. Read from different translations if possible.
·         What is Jesus the author of in each passage?
·         What does that mean? How does it affect you personally?
·         Any practical steps you may take in your faith/life after this study?
·         Which verse(s) from Revelation 1 would you like to memorize?

May we all not only know more about the Lord Jesus, but also find out how to follow Him in a more personal, closer way.

See you soon,

For your information We previously talked about Jesus as the “Alpha and the Omega”. Following that discussion and all the interesting questions and observations made, we started to explore all of Revelation 1, where these words (Alpha and Omega) first appear. We completed Rev. 1:1-8.  Many of our participants however won’t be around this week but they are available next week. For that reason, we’re doing another study this week about Jesus: Author, and we hope to finish our Rev. 1:9-20 study next week: Sept 3.

The link for these meetings will be sent out each week via email. Please contact the church office by phone or email if you wish to receive this link.
